Starting a business is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. When I launched my own business, I had no idea what to do or where to start. I had plenty of ideas (actually way too many!) but struggled to bring them together into a clear strategy. I spent a lot of time figuring things out on my own - researching, testing, refining my target audience, packaging and repackaging my services, and learning through trial and error. I definitely had imposter syndrome too, despite seeing the positive impact my clients were achieving through my services. I haven't told many people about this, but taking money from clients was actually really challenging for me. That resulted in me underselling myself and over servicing, often doing lots of extra bits for no extra payment. No wonder I burnt myself out many times!


Looking back, I know that business coaching would have helped me pull apart my thoughts, refine my vision, and create a structured plan to move forward confidently. It would have saved me lots and lots of hours fumbling around, and it would have helped me with all of the negative thoughts that came up about not feeling good enough. Who was I to start a business and provide advice to others that could be life changing?
